Stomp into the action with Method IT

This summer, Method IT has had the privilege of teaming up with Havens  Hospices and Wild in Art to bring a herd of elephants to your front doorstep.

As a bespoke IT support agency, Method work 24/7/365 to ensure that we get to the heart of a business’s problems and create a long-lasting relationship.

We’re all about working together to offer the best support possible, and Herd in the City has offered us a way to give back to families and individuals who will really benefit from the money raised during the seven weeklong event. It has also given us the opportunity to work with some amazing companies like c2c, to really raise awareness about the vital work Havens Hospice provides.

From the 14th of July to the 4th of September, beautifully decorated elephant sculptures will be distributed across Southend, Leigh on Sea and Shoeburyness for you to view for free!

Following on from the success of their Hares About Town in 2021, Havens Hospice and Wild in Art have partnered together for the Herd in the City art trail.

The Herd in the City app will allow you to track which sculptures you’ve visited, as well as unlocking exciting prizes along the way! The app will be available for download on July 14th, so you can begin walking the art trail and start collecting your rewards on the same day.

All money raised will be used to fund specialist palliative care - you can support Havens Hospices' by purchasing a map of the art trail, downloading the Herd in the City app or getting involved in the upcoming fundraising events.

At Method, we were fortunate enough to team up with Amrit Singh, an award-winning artist who uses texture to involve audiences in his work through touch and feel. Through his art on our elephant, Amrit has used abstract artwork to show his own enthusiasm and creativity – it “celebrates the beauty of diversity and the importance of embracing one’s unique artistic expressions.” You can view Method IT’s elephant outside Southend Victoria train station on July 14th.
